Here’s a deal, but you need to act before midnight tomorrow, July 17th.
SkoobaDesign is offering their new TSA Checkpoint-Friendly computer bag, the “Checkthrough Brief” for only $109.95. Regular price is $139.95.
But wait; it gets better! Use their coupon code (HALFCRAZY) before midnight tomorrow and get half off the sale price. That’s just $54.98. With ground shipping my order came to $63.02.
I travel with their R.A.P.S! Advanced Protection Systemfor keeping dust and dirt out of my electronics (camcorder, etc.) at the same time it puts some extra padding around those fragile items. I like them a lot. So I’m going to try their new TSA friendly bag.
It’s only 3 pounds, can hold up to a 17″ laptop AND my digitial projector (called to make sure: 877 435-5679, hit 1 to order or ask questions), plus it has all sorts of pockets for other stuff I tote around. Best of all the laptop stays in the bag at security checkpoints. You’ve got to see it to believe it. There is a great video on their web site plus complete specifications. They also offer a return policy if you don’t like the bag. Hard to beat.
NOTE: For the special 50% off deal, it’s half off the entire order, one order per customer, and the “buy one, get one free” R.A.P.S products are not included. If you put them in your cart the discount won’t work.
No affiliation, no perks for telling you, just a happy customer hoping to be happy again with a new travel bag. http://www.skoobadesign.com

Thank you so much for blogging about this bag! I’ve just gotten a new laptop and was wondering what kind of bag to get that would be the best for carrying it around. This TSA checkpoint friendly bag is on its way to me!

Ami…thanks so much… I’ve been looking around for a bag, and between features and price this is perfect…just ordered it! Even tho I am cutting back on travel teaching, I’ll still get good use from the bag. I ordered on the 18th, and the HALFCRAZY discount still worked…hooray! Thanks again, Sarah

Thanks for this heads up, Ami. I bought one, and I’m looking forward to my first trip with it soon.
Mine came on Tuesday, and I used it on Wednesday. Much better than what I have been using even though all I could fit in on the road was a pack of gum. Still it didn’t topple, was lighter, and way easy at TSA. I’m writing them to put a pocket on the outside/back for tickets. I don’t like using the ones on the front. Picky, picky, picky!
